Pacers Weekly Wrap Up

Another week down in the NBA Season, and another great week for the Pacers.  Still room for improvement, but a 3-1 record for the week is a great thing, especially with the way the game in Toronto was unfolding.  For the Pacers to turn it around, and win that game after being down double digits and losing Danny Granger due to his technical fouls says something about this team.  Last night, they went up against the Celtics and handled the Celtics for a second time in about two weeks.  That's another good sign for this team. They handled the Hawks earlier leading at one point by 24 points.  Everyone is contributing, and everyone is adjusting to their roles.  There are many positive signs coming out of this team.  David West and George Hill were great additions, and they are paying off.  Both are scoring in double figures as well as four or five other Pacer players.  This team feels like they have about seven starters the way their bench can come in and get the ball rolling after the starters step out.  Rebounding and playing defense are two hallmarks of the Pacers as well.  Frank Vogel deserves a lot of credit for bringing in the fresh air and he may be over the top with this optimism, but this team needs that.  We all saw last season how Roy Hibbert got down on himself, and I haven't seen that at all this year as he keeps up racking double double after double double.  Danny Granger had a good turnaround game last night after his little fiasco in Toronto, and is hopefully realizing he doesn't need to do it all like he has in the past.  Paul George is a great at adapting to whatever he needs to do on any given night.  He could be more aggressive, and hopefully that starts coming out.  Darren Collison looks to be much more comfortable running the offense. Things are really clicking, and now we just need the fans to rally behind the time.  Step up and show the Pacers we believe in them.
