Pacers Get the Job Done in Chicago: Pacers 95 Chicago 90

Danny Granger looks to score against Corey Brewer
I know it's early to call this a statement game, but this is one that the Pacers needed to win, especially after losing to the Magic the way they did.  Remember this is the Bulls team that knocked the Pacers out of the playoffs last year, when I think the Pacers played them tougher than the Bulls would give credit. "They are just thrilled to get the win here," coach Frank Vogel said. "They were crushed that we didn't beat them last year in the playoffs."  Vogel always has some great quotes coming out of games.  Roy Hibbert continues his surge for the team as he hit for 20 points, and a game clinching dunk at the end.  Danny Granger put up 22 points.  The Pacers shot just at 48%, which is great against the tough defense of Chicago.  They were down double digits at halftime, but came together and got this win. Other than that Magic loss, this has been a good week, starting with the Lakers win and the Warriors one right before that.  And now giving the Bulls their first home loss after the Pacers first home loss has to feel good.  Tough rest of the week as the Pacers travel to Boston and then another game with Orlando.  Pacers have already beat Boston twice, so hopefully another win.  Then a rematch with Orlando where I expect a much better effort, and one that will hopefully get a win.
