Butler Gets it Done Against Youngstown State: Butler 71 Youngstown St. 55

Now this is the way Butler should have been playing all along.  They used an 11-0 run in the beginning of the game to take control.  Lead at halftime 34-27, and even lead by 20 through the second half. Everything was clicking, and there wasn't a bad spot to be had.  Andrew Smith lead the way for the Bulldogs getting a 20 point game.  Kameron Woods got 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Good to see the two big men of the team doing work down low.  Butler shot well going for just at 45% for the game.  Not many turnovers happened as good passes were made, and the team worked together to get baskets.  Butler still has a shot to get back into winning the league or at least finishing second. It's important to get one of the top two seeds as those teams get automatic byes into the semi-finals of the Horizon League Tourney.  That means winning two games and a team is in the NCAA Tourney instead of winning three games.  Butler needs teams above them to lose, but they can control their own fate this week by winning a couple of games against the lower teams in the league.  Get those wins and see where things shake out as they go. We're almost halfway through league play, time for Butler to get some momentum and get back to the big dance.
