Pacers Power By Pistons 91-79

Roy Hibbert Takes it Strong to the Basket
On a night when Danny Granger couldn't find his shot, and the Pacers overall didn't shot well, they still pulled off the win against the Pistons. It's only one game, but there are good things to talk about here.  How about three big men getting double doubles?  Roy Hibbert finishes with 16 points and 14 rebounds, Tyler Hasnbrough gets his own 15 points and 13 rebounds, and newcomer David West gets 11 points and 12 rebounds.  Nice to see all the big men rebounding more so than the scoring.  But that scoring is a great touch since Granger shot 6-18 from the field, and still got 16 points.  The best play Granger made was a drive in the lane with a great pass to Hibbert for a slam.  That's what I want to see Granger do more.  If he has the open three, shot it, but also look to drive more and help others get their shots.  That's what this team can do overall is help each other create shots.  We saw this from David West as well when he started to drive and dish off to an open Hansbrough.  Crashing the boards is great too as there were many times it was all white shirts on the defensive and offensive glass.  Yes this is only one game, but fun to see what this team can do, and if they can shot even better, just imagine how things might be.
