1. Fact or Fiction: The Bulls will finish with the East's best record.
This is a tough one because the Bulls and Heat might as well be 1 and 1A. It's a close tight race between the teams, and I can't imagine either one dropping out of the first or second spots. Chicago has a three game lead in the East right now, and their schedule looks favorable down the stretch, so I will say FACT that Chicago finishes the season with the best record in the East.
I want to say fiction because I want to believe the Pacers can get it together and make a run at the Finals, but if it goes through Miami that's going to be roughly. I feel better about the chances of a Pacers upset against the Bulls. But the East is dominated by Chicago and Miami, so I have to begrudgingly state FACT that Miami and Chicago are the only teams with a shot at the Finals, unless something crazy happens. So maybe that makes it fact with a chance of fiction.
Fact as I see the Celtics sitting in seventh place with a small lead, but the veterans of that team, and the way they are coached will push them to stay in the playoff hunt.
This is fiction because of my answer to the next statement, which is the Knicks will make the playoffs. I can't see the Bucks putting it together down the stretch, and see them stumbling at some point to drop out of the picture.
Fact, especially after the way they handled the Pacers. I can see this Knicks team getting defensively put together, and their offense does enough to win games, therefore, they can put this team together to make a run at the playoffs and sneak into one of those bottom spots.
